The Restorers at the USAF Museum

Episode 2 of The Restorers series titled "Aircraft Recovery" will appear on the big screen at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. This one time only screening will feature the stories of recovering lost historic aircraft from the past and the wilderness.
In "Aircraft Recovery" we visit a group who excavate captured WWII enemy aircraft out of the ground, where they were buried 70 years ago...at Freeman Army Air Field in Seymour, Indiana. We then feature a group of volunteers from Michigan who travel to the Alaskan wilderness to recover a B-25 Firebomber that crash landed in 1969, nicknamed Sandbar Mitchell.
Members of the Sandbar Mitchell Recovery and Restoration team will be on hand at the screening to speak about their project, as well as the creators of The Restorers series.
